Barbadian singer Rihanna was spotted showing off her bikini body and a new pistol tattoo on her thigh while on holiday in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Rihanna, 22, who already has over a dozen tattoos on her body, got the new addition, which is not permanent, for her role in the movie 'Battleship', which she is currently shooting, the Daily Mail reported.

The singer will be starring as a naval officer in the action flick, which is loosely based on the popular board game, and it follows an international fleet coming together to save earth from alien invaders.

The movie will also star 'True Blood' actor Alexander Skarsgard and 'Friday Night Lights' star Taylor Kitsch, as fellow naval officers alongside model Brooklyn Decker, and is expected to be released in 2012. (ANI)
