Chubby chaps can actually make love for longer, says a new study.

Their sex sessions last an average 7.3 minutes, according to researchers from Erciyes University in Turkey, reports the Daily Express.

The reason is that they are much less likely to suffer from premature ejaculation.

Meanwhile, the slim lovers who are likely to leave women less than satisfied in bed with average of just 1.8 minutes.

The lardy lovers' secret lies in their spare tyre and the other rolls of fat, which affect the balance of their hormones.

Being obese means they have higher levels of the female sex hormone oestradiol, a form of oestrogen.

The researchers believe this may disrupt the balance of neurotransmitter chem
icals in the brain that control ejaculation.

In contrast, men afflicted by premature ejaculation have lower levels of the hormone.

The research team found fat can be fun when they spent a year recording the body mass index of more than 100 men with premature ejaculation problems. They compared the results with men who did not have PE.he findings showed men with the condition had much lower BMI scores on average than their chubby pals.

he study has been published in the International Journal of Impotence Research. (ANI)
