George Clooney wants to attend London Olympics
    The UK News

    (ANI)

George Clooney has just been nominated for an Oscar but what the veteran actor really looks forward to at the time is something entirely different - the 2012 London Olympics.

The 50-year-old has revealed that he is trying to get himself some tickets for the track and field events at the games this year.

"I think it's fantastic that the Olympics are coming to London. I think you should always try to take politics out of sport and the London bid did that," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"Track and field is something that I really want to come back and see. I'm trying to see if I can get some tickets. I'm a big fan of London. There are only a handful of great cities in the world and it's one of them.

"There are some cities that are made for the world, not just the country they are in and London is definitely one of them," Clooney said. (ANI)
